With public schools providing little or no personal finance education and families reluctant to talk openly about money, people often reach adulthood with no idea how to build strong credit, manage debt, or buy a house. One-size-fits-all suggestions aren’t helpful, especially in a rapidly changing economy.
Adults need to understand how things work so they can make decisions that are right for them. I created Financial Freedom Voyage to provide information that people can apply to their lives, not generic or unrealistic advice.
My Story
I hold a bachelor’s degree in political science from Yale University, a master’s in education from the University of New Haven, and an executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
Since 2018, I have worked as a freelance writer, primarily covering topics related to real estate. I find it particularly rewarding to break down the complex process of buying a home, dispel misconceptions, and help readers avoid common mistakes.
I created the First-Time Homebuyer Masterclass to help people set themselves up for success. The course covers everything from figuring out if you should buy a house to choosing the right property and caring for your home after you move in.
